Level 1
•
32m
Back by popular demand, we have our foam roller release work part 2. New and different ideas for foam rolling from the first video. This class is perfect to do before or after a workout or as a stand alone workout on a recovery day. You may also find some favorites within this class that you add piece meal to your routine. Foam rolling is most effective when you release the muscle then engage it, that way the flexibility you gained will hold.
Reminder:
Why is this myofascial release work important? Myofascial release reorganizes the fascia and helps nerve signals from your brain tell things to loosen up. Myofascial release work should be done regularly as maintenance to help things not lock down.
Props needed: 36 inch foam roller is ideal. Although the shorter ones should work as well for this class.
